    I made an html document that lists common math symbols. For squared and theta I use the character entity references ² and θ respectively. I open the document on my browser and just copy and paste the symbols whenever necessary.

    You can copy and paste from tlt. its. psu. edu/suggestions/international/bylanguage/mathchart. html Remove the spaces from that link. There’s a link for greek letters on that webpage as well.

    x = 2cot?

    dx/dt = -2csc²? d?/dt
    180 = -2csc²? d?/dt
    d?/dt = -180/(2csc²?)
    = -90sin²?

    in this solution x doesn’t appear in the final equation
